WHAT?  It is our annual funfair with lots of food, entertainment, games and activities for the whole family to enjoy!

WHO?  You! Make it happen.  Find out which activity your class is running and sign up now to get the spot you want.  There is much to be done so give me a call to help, Tracey 338-0834.

WHY?  It raises money for the school and it is FUN!  Puntledge Park Funfair is one of the most successful, fun, funfairs around.  In the past the funds raised have helped buy the big climber and our video projection unit.

WANTS:  Can you help?

We need all of your unwanted little plastic toys.  Please drop them off in the office for the popular Funfair grab bags.

Any jello boxes hiding at the back of your cupboard?  Bring them into the office so we can use them for the jello-eating contest.

Recyclables for the Make and Take event.  Buttons, ribbons, lace, anything to create a masterpiece craft to take home with you.

Wacky Hair, Body art, Face painting is looking for any old nail polish or anything wacky for their donations as well as if you have any tattoos that have not been put to use, I am sure we can.

 SILENT AUCTION

The items up for bid will be on display in the library from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m. on the night of the Funfair.  Each item will have an opening bid assigned to it.  From there you bid on items as you desire.  The auction closes at 7:00 p.m., whereupon all auction bids will be processed.  The auction room will be open again at 7:15 for people to check and see if they had the highest bid.  Bid winners may pay the cashier and take their items home at this time.  Successful bidders who leave the fair before the auction ends will be contacted by phone and arrangements can be made for them to pick their item(s) up during the following week.  Any items not claimed by May 23 will be offered to the second highest bidder.

The following is a list of items to bid on as to date.   There are many more items on the list that people have said they would try and obtain.  If you have said that you would try to contact a certain business or businesses please contact Donna or myself so that we may update this list and add to it for the next letter.  The more donations we obtain the more successful the auction becomes.  If you have any unwanted items, old presents never opened, a business that can donate a service or gift certificate we would love to hear from you.  No item is too small to help increase the excitement.  Don’t forget the kids love to bid as well, last year little things like pen sets or pencil and eraser set were popular with the kids, so check out your closets and bring in those unwanted items.  Thank you for all your support.
