Kids Window Japan - This site is good for studying Japanese language and letters. Here you will also find great information about Japanese cuisine and folk tales.

Japan Webquest - This will bring you to an excellent lesson that students complete on the Internet. Students are given tasks to complete and links to click on to help them complete the tasks. A great introduction to your unit on Japan.

Virtual Peru - This is a great place to learn about Peru. Here you will find brief but detailed information about Peru with lots of photographs.

Journey With Care to Peru - A Virtual Fieldtrip - Travel through Peru with the Youth Corps 2000. A great source of information.

Click here to go to Reader's Digest: The Living Edens - This is an excellent site for information about the rainforests of Peru and the people who live there. There are also classroom resources and a great Trivia Quiz that is marked on the computers.

Click here to see some excellent photos of Peru - There is not a lot of information about the photos but they are worth looking at to get a feeling of what it is like.

Click here to go to Explore Peru - This is a great site with activities for the kids to do at home or you could do them in class. There are also excellent worksheets here for other subjects and the Map Zap It game is fantastic for geography. (This site isn't currently working but I don't want to take it off just incase, because it was so good)
